This is negated due to heavy and unforseen expenses, and an inconsistent workload. His job is a literal three-sided coinflip on whether it's amazing or shitty. With prospects of hoping to leave this all behind and enroll in post-secondary education, Alex finds himself stuck in a rut of which he physically cannot climb out of.
